
Arnaldo Bonilla, President & CEO
Arnaldo Bonilla is one of the founders of Costa Developers and holds the position of President and CEO of the company. With more than 20 years experience in Real Estate in the region, he has a Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Finance, and a specialization in "Intellectual Property Law", from the Comparative Law Center of Kyoto, Japan.
In his successful career as an entrepreneur stands the consolidation of companies, including:
- Full Trademark Protection, the biggest firm specializing in Trademark Law in Central America.
- Arnaldo Bonilla & Associates, Costa Rica's foremost Corporate & Business Law Firm
- Costa Developers, the biggest and most dynamic real estate company in Costa Rica's Central Pacific.
Silvio Alvarez, Chief Financial Officer CFO

Silvio directs our financial strategy, enabling our management team to forecast trends, opportunities for expansion and project future company growth.
With more than 30 years experience, extensive know-how in financial and accounting area of multinational companies, such as Chiquita Brands International-Group, Polymer United and Price Waterhouse Coopers among others where he served as Financial Administrative Manager, and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing regional operations. Mr. Alvarez has also provided professional services as an outsourcing in accounting and finance for large regional companies.
He is a Certified Public Accountant duly admitted in the Bar of Certified Public Accountants of Costa Rica, with a degree from the University of Sciences and Arts of Costa Rica in Accounting and Finance.
Carlos Jorge, Director - Sales

Carlos provides leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing. He is successful in his leadership of our sales team and one of the architects of our highly effective on-line sales and marketing strategies.
He is highly motivated with a focus on customer acquisition and meeting company revenue goals.
He is currently receiving a Bilingual Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in International Marketing and a minor in Psychology from the Latin American University of Science and Technology in Costa Rica.
Edward Neary, Director - Marketing Development and Strategy

Ed is in charge of administering and promoting the portfolio of products Costa Developers offers to it’s potential customers.
He has had vast experience in Marketing and Sales in the Real Estate industry for a long period of time and also in a broad spectrum of related business areas, such as in the Fractional Ownership and Timeshare sales in Orange Lake Country Club, Florida, Vistana Resorts, Disney Vacation Club, and Westgate all in Kissimmee, Florida. At these locations he handled Sales Administration, Off-Property Consultation, Revenue Control, Welcome Center Supervision, Property Specialist, as well as Referral & Incentive Programs.
His experience from working for the Rooney Family, Kemmon’s Wilson Family, & Walt Disney Family has led him to have a tremendous foundation to his vast knowledge and managerial experience.
He earned a Psychology Degree at Mara Costa College in California, as well a numerous training courses in Marketing and Sales.
Clifton Dunaway, Director – Sales Administration and Qualification

Clif oversees the sales qualification process, providing insight and strategic knowledge about leads and potential clients and how to direct his team members to turn their efforts into sales.
His Real Estate career began with Time Share and Condo Sales for Pacifica Club, Costa Rica, back in 1986 into the early 90´s. Here his duties included Sales Management and Marketing.
After a successful run, he then continued south to Isla Margarita, Venezuela at Laguna Mar Resort where he served as the Sales Manager for the company.
Returning to South Padre Island, Texas, he achieved the Head Sales Position at South Padre Island Golf Course Resort, where he sold out their “Golf Villas” program.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, he attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a Degree in International Business.
Andrea Munoz, Director – Customer Relations & Administrative Affairs

Andrea Munoz has been involved with Costa Developers since inception. In her professional duties she’s in charge of the operational process of Sales by completing and supervising the leads process (since first initial contact to solidification of the sale); follow up and coordinate with every Property Specialist and onsite Property Managers about their clients and the status of every transaction. She handles the preparation and management of sales Reports, vendors relationships, Customer Service and office operation.
She has a degree in Business Administration and a Degree in Advertising; she has more than 15 years of experience in the Administrative and Customer Service Fields.
Asdrubal Jimenez, Director – Media & Web Marketing

Asdrúbal leads the tech team of Costa Developers, handling content strategy, building connections with industry leaders and potential clients, gathering information about competition and positioning the company throughout the Internet. He has more than 12years experience in graphic design, web design and marketing with extensive knowledge in these areas as well as in technical support, networking, logistics and project management.
He has an Internet Marketing degree from Elliasaron Institute in Spain, as well as additional technical training from ICAM Institute of Mexico.
Asdrubal is a registered “Webxpert” in Searh Engine Optimization (SEO), certified by Google Inc.
He is a university professor in the areas of graphic and web design.
Costa Finance Team
Elluany Coto, Loan Operations Manager

Elluany supervises a team of loan specialists, overseeing, verifying and processing loan applications, implementing underwriting procedures and performing escrow and collection procedures.
She has over 5 years of experience in formalization, management, loan origination and credit record analysis. She supervises a team of loan processing specialist’s that organize and implement the administrative functions of all loan application processing.
She graduated with a Law Degree from the University of Central America. She is a member of the Costa Rica Bar Association and a Notary Public.
Leonardo Chacón, Supervisor Loan Origination
Leonardo supervises a team of loan origination specialists in charge of document preparation and due diligence for complex Real Estate transactions.
He has a vast experience inTitle guaranty/insurance, escrow transactions, closing and mortgage lender referral services for foreigners in Costa Rica, guide throughout the entire process of negotiation, documentation, due diligence and legal credentials of purchases and sales of Real Estate.
He acquired a vast experience as mortgage accounts manager, management counseling and mortgage lending
at Bank of America where he worked for approximately 3 years.
His practice also includes experience in corporate management and mortgage process management in the
USA and Costa Rica.
Leonardo is an attorney at law from the Latina University of Costa Rica.
Natalia Gonzalez, Supervisor Loan Origination
Natalia has a vast experience in compilation, analysis and processing legal and financial documents for loan applications.
She has processed multiple mortgage applications for customers building their homes within Costa Developers gated communities.
Her professional practice involves experience in credit record analysis, formalization, management and constitution of Mortgage Loans, the structure and draft of Credit Guarantee and Administration Trusts, individual and corporate real estate transactions, offshore Real Estate purchases trough Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
With a Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica, she is also member of the Costa Rica Bar Association.
Sylvia Mendoza, Customer Service Representative
As a Canadian citizen, Sylvia has an extensive knowledge in dealing with the north American culture.
Besides handling customer care relationships, she takes care of collections, with the assistance of our very own specialized software in Customer Relation Management (CRM).
Sylvia graduated as an Administrative Assistant from the American Business Academy, and she also has a degree in Office Administration from Grande Prairie Regional College, Alberta, Canada.
Andrea Chacón, Customer Service Representative
Andrea is in constant communication with clients on a day to day basis.
Providing information, follow up and assistance in collection.
She graduated from Sykes Academy in Communications Skills and Customer Service, and currently receiving a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the State University in Costa Rica.
